Warehouse Live, Houston is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The All You Need Is Now Tour at the Warehouse Live in Houston, TX, USA on 6 April 2011.

About the albumEdit

The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Warehouse Live, a 1,500 capacity standing-room only venue located in East Downtown, Houston. This was the fourth show performed by the band in the state of Texas in 2011.

Duran Duran took the stage to a roaring and rapturous crowd. Decked out in sleek black suits, shimmering shirts, and leather jackets, the band looked striking and a little less 'New-wave Punk' than those nostalgically familiar with the 1980s.

The band opened with the title track from their 13th studio album, All You Need Is Now. "We're here to entertain you!" Simon Le Bon announced to the audience.

Five pillars of brightly beaming lights illuminated the stage, as the songs kept the crowd dancing nonstop. Crowd-pleasing classics like "Notorious", "Hungry Like the Wolf", and "The Reflex" were matched by new All You Need Is Now material including "Runway Runaway".

Le Bon described the ballad "Leave A Light On" as a song about being completely lost and having somebody else find you," before confessing it was one of his favorite songs the band has written.

Before performing "Ordinary World", Le Bon said "This song is dedicated to absent friends, wherever they maybe."

Though single-heavy, the setlist spanned Duran Duran's catalogue, including their 1981 self-titled debut Duran Duran album.

During the encore, Le Bon said "Can I have your attention?. Turn the lights on and look over here - we want to take your picture," he continued, as flashing strobe lights flashed amid the sound of a loud, familiar shudder-flash. The crowd cheered in instant recognition of "Girls on Film". During the song, Le Bon introduced each band member before a spoken tease of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face".

As the lights brightened, the band abandoned their instruments, walking to the foot of the stage they then bowed to the audience.

The bootleg is incomplete, missing "Runway Runaway" and "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise" from the setlist. Duran Duran continued the tour two days later, playing the Banamex Auditorium, Monterrey show in Mexico on 8 April 2011.
