Jan 2013 Lincoln MKS Commercial aires in the USA, featuring an electro cover version of "The Chauffeur".
Jan 6 The Challenger released via YouTube, a short film featuring "Liberty" by Patrick O'Hearn. This track is also known as "Firefly", which appears on various Duran Duran bootleg albums such as Didn't Anybody Tell You?.
Jan 7 Top of the Pops: New Romantic released in Europe, featuring "Girls on Film" and "Hungry Like the Wolf".
Jan 8 The single "C’est Tout Est Noir" by Koishii & Hush released, a collaboration with John Taylor.
Jan 13 Beth Sherburn releases her debut single "Ordinary World", after music mogul John McLaughlin overhears her singing a Michael Bublé song at the Chanel counter in Debenhams, Merry Hill Center near Birmingham.
Jan 15 Roger Taylor DJs a special invitation only show for Géau Vitamin Water on the beach in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
Feb Blue To Brown released, an album featuring father-son Rob Brown and Dom Brown.
Feb 2 The duo Koishii and Hush announce that due to demand, they will be releasing a limited edition CD Maxi single with several mixes of "C’est Tout Est Noir", as well as a CD-only exclusive remix that will not be available digitally. Using a popular crowd sourcing platform, they announce only 500 copies will be put in to production, including 20 to be signed by John.
Feb 15 John Taylor receives the Experience, Strength and Hope Award, presented by Robert Downey Jr at Skirball Hall in Los Angeles. John is being honored by Writers In Treatment for his commitment to his sobriety and in celebration of his book, In the Pleasure Groove: Love, Death and Duran Duran. Others joining the gala include Buzz Aldrin, Steve Jones, Ione Skye, Michael Des Barres, Ed Begley Jr and comedian Bobcat Goldthwait.
Feb 17 The pre-sale for TV Mania’s Bored with Prozac and The Internet? begins on The Vinyl Factory website, where fans could purchase a TV Mania Box Set that is limited to 100 copies and signed by both Nick and Warren or the gatefold vinyl edition.
Feb 28 John Taylor is named the Greatest Bassist of All Time in a new poll, compiled by MusicRadar.com and electronics firm Orange Amps. Taylor topped the bassist list with 30 per cent of the public vote.
Mar Duran Duran return to the studio with producer Mark Ronson to begin work on their 14th studio album.
Mar 6 Tetsuya Komuro's Digitalian Is Eating Breakfast 3 (DEBF3) is released, an album co-produced by Nick Wood which features Saffron Le Bon.
Mar 7 To celebrate the release of the forthcoming TV Mania album, Bored with Prozac and The Internet?, an exhibition of a collection of original photographic works by Nick Rhodes is held at The Vinyl Factory Chelsea in London (from March 7 – April 5, 2013). The exhibition is called Bei Incubi: "Beautiful Nightmares", which premiered on March 7 at a private, star-studded event. Open to the general public from March 8.
Mar 11 TV Mania release Bored with Prozac and The Internet?, an album that's been ready for 17 years, available as a limited edition vinyl record and download. Featuring artwork created by Andrew Day and Nick Rhodes, the album is entirely made from samples taken from television, so the lead vocalist is the TV.
Mar 25 Oh No It's...The Wonder Stuff 2-disc album released, featuring a cover version of Duran Duran's "Planet Earth". This track was originally released on From The Midlands with Love (Part 3) single during December 2012.
Mar 27 Simon and Yasmin Le Bon attend a Range Rover launch party in New York with James Bond actor Daniel Craig.
Apr The American science fiction film Oblivion is released, which features a copy of Duran Duran's Rio.
Apr 2 "Feed Me Diamonds" by MNDR released as various remixes. The single features the Radiant Cut Remix by Nick Rhodes.
Apr 9 David Bowie's "Let’s Dance 30th Anniversary Radio Documentary" featuring John Taylor is aired by on Absolute 80s at 8:00pm. An hour-long documentary celebrating the 30th anniversary of Bowie's biggest selling album, Let's Dance.
Apr 13 Doctor Who: Cold War aires in the UK. During the episode, Clara sang the chorus from "Hungry Like the Wolf" to deactive some submarine warheads.
Apr 14 John Taylor signs copies of In the Pleasure Groove at Tranquebar, Borgergade 14, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Nov 20 A selection of photographs from Careless Memories are on display at a dedicated pop-up store, at 15 Foubert’s Place, off Carnaby Street, in Central London, from 20 November to 6 December. The night before the exhibition closes, members of Duran Duran, Denis O'Regan and Intense will host a launch event for Careless Memories, with the proceeds of a silent auction that will run throughout the life of the exhibition, going to the Ace Africa charity.
Nov 29 No Ordinary EP is re-released in celebration of Record Store Day's Back To Black Friday on white 10” vinyl. Limited to 5,000 individually numbered copies, the No Ordinary EP is released in North America for a suggested list price of $16.98, at all participating independent stores.

For fans outside of North America, an unnumbered version will be also available in early December.

Dec 3 Simon Le Bon took part in the biggest single fund raising event in the City of London- ICAP’s Annual Charity Day. On this one day, ICAP, the world’s largest inter-dealer broker, gives away its revenues and commissions to charity.

Simon participated in support of the Blue Marine Foundation, a charity he has been involved with since last year. He had a great day on the trading floor and even ‘closed’ a 10 million dollar deal!
