Nick arranges for John Jones to fly in from LA and come back to the band, to help them set up a studio in a villa on the Cap d'Antibes, in the South of France; a truck-full of equipment is driven in from London. (Note: John Jones claims this was May. Given the album took 3 months to mix, that would mean it was ready in August.)
? Duran works on the Thank You album in Cap d'Antibes, south of France.
? Simon and John Jones work on all of the tracks on Thank You. Warren adds some new guitar parts and sends them in from London.
? Simon bumps into Roger Taylor while in France. Roger agrees to come in to the studio.

Jun 17 Actor O.J. Simpson is chased at high speed through the streets of LA, followed by police cars and helicopters. This happens while John Jones is in LA mixing Thank You, and Alanis Morrisette is recording Jagged Little Pill at the same studio, The Record Plant in LA.

Aug? John announces The Power Station reunion on Larry King's Open Mike America programme, as he goes back into the London studio with the band.

Aug 20/28 Warren records Thanks 2 Frank album over the course of two days in Studio B Metropolis, London.
Sep 10 Tallulah Pine Le Bon born to Simon and Yasmin.
Sep? EMI delays the new album until November, and commissions several new remixes for Thank You, including remixes 'White Lines', and an alternative version of 'I Wanna Take You Higher' called 'I Wanna Take You Higher Again'.
Sep Anthony J. Resta mixes "911 Is a Joke" at Sound Techniques studios in Boston, adding new drums and samples of conch shells, a cowboy lady, and more
Sep Nick appears on Modern Roots radio show in UK.
Oct Anthony J. Resta and his partner Bob St. John are invited to London to do post-production and mixing on the rest of the Thank You album.

Oct-Nov Anthony and Bob work at Metropolis Studios in London on much of the Thank You album, and two remixes of "White Lines"
? EMI pushes back the new album to January 1995.
? John flies to London, but is unable to go directly to the band in the studio, and instead checks himself in to see a therapist in London. The session ends after 20mins, with the therapist recommending someone else in St. Johns Wood. John goes to see the second therapist at 7pm that evening, and she recommends getting sober. It is a revelation to John. He calls up a rehab hospital in Sierra Tucson Centre in Arizona, and they promise to send a video cassette brochure.
? A few nights later, John and Amanda's brother Bruiser go to see Tristan and Isolde at the London Coliseum. John then goes out to score 'blow', and after a drunken night returns to Amanda and Atlanta at Ossington Street. His final day in the studio is cancelled.
Nov 15? John flies with his PA Bev from London to LA for one last party, before going into rehab in Tucson.
Nov 17? John flies to Arizona, and checks himself into rehab, situated many miles deep into the Arizona desert. All processed foods and drugs are flushed from his body.
Nov Alternative rock band Hole release the single "Doll Parts", featuring a live cover version of "Hungry Like The Wolf".
Dec 8? John is on Week 3 of therapy in Arizona - Family week. He calls up his mum and dad, but they decline to join him.
Dec 15 John leaves rehab in Arizona after 31 days, on Dec 15th 1994.
Dec ? John chats with fans on AOL.
Dec The In Tune with the World compilation album is given to EMI employees, featuring "Too Much Information".
? EMI commissions new mixes of "Lay Lady Lay".
? Anthony and Bob work on a new mix for Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay" at Longview Farm Studios in Boston, but the track is deemed too "way out there" by the band, and is not used.
? Tim Palmer remixes "Lay Lady Lay" again, using some of Anthony's work.
Dec 30 John reports on AOL that the record company is holding up the release of Thank You over the arrangements for "Lay Lady Lay".
