The Video Archives: Volume III is an unofficial Duran Duran 10-track compilation DVD, released by Blitz Productions Ltd.
About the DVD
Edit
The DVD is a collection of Duran Duran and band related live performances and media appearances, compiled from TV broadcasts from 1984 and 1985. The compilation includes the complete As The Lights Go Down TV show, filmed during The Sing Blue Silver Tour and is essentially the same as the Arena (An Absurd Notion) video, minus the conceptual and storyline scenes.
Also included is Duran Duran's complete performance at Live Aid, which was last by the original five band members until the Osaka Jo Hall: July 7, 2003 show and is also remembered for a bad vocal sung during "A View To A Kill". In an interview on Daily Bacon: 20 January 2011, Simon Le Bon blamed the vocal on rehearsing for six hours a day for five straight days prior to the event.
