The VOX 'Phone Box is a promotional-only cassette compilation album featuring Duran Duran, released in the UK by VOX Magazine during December 1992.

About the albumEdit

Featuring a collection of hit singles and rare recordings by various artists, the album was given away free with the December issue of the VOX music magazine in the UK.

The compilation includes Duran Duran's cover version of Steve Harley's "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)", a track recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on 16 November 1982 during The Rio Tour.

The cassette was compiled by Paul Aarons (VOX art editor from 1990-95) and Roy Carr (music journalist who joined the New Music Express in the late 1960s and has edited NME, VOX and Melody Maker magazines).
