The Power Station: Get It On Tour is an unofficial live album by The Power Station, recorded during The Get It On Tour at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, USA on 28 July 1985.
About the album[]
This was the first of two shows performed by the band in the state of California on the tour, held at a 5,700-seat amphitheater located at Griffith Park in Los Angeles and modeled after a Greek temple.
The bootleg recording is from the Sunday night USA radio show called King Biscuit Flower Hour, aired by more than 300 radio stations.
Included are various cover versions such as Martha and the Vandellas' "Dancing in the Street". There is also "Some Guys Have All The Luck", a 1973 hit for The Persuaders and later recorded by Robert Palmer.
