The Power Station: Dancing In The Street is an unofficial live album by The Power Station, released in the UK by Tree Records during 1985.
About the album[]
The album was recorded at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, USA on 28th July 1985. This was during the band's Summer Tour and featured vocalist Michael Des Barres. The tour consisted of 28 dates in the USA, with an additional appearance at Live Aid in Philadelphia 15 days before this show.
The Live Aid concert featured the Martha and the Vandellas song "Dancing in the Street", as a video performed by David Bowie and Mick Jagger. This song was covered by The Power Station on this album and officially released on The Best of The Power Station in 2003.
This vinyl record features a recording from the Sunday night USA radio show called the King Biscuit Flower Hour, aired by more than 300 radio stations.
