The One Show: 17 November 2010 is an episode from the topical magazine-style television programme, broadcast on that date on BBC1 in the UK. The episode featured an interview with Simon Le Bon and John Taylor.

About the episode[]

Presented by Jason Manford and Alex Jones, the episode was broadcast from the BBC Media Village in White City, London, UK. The episode also included Marty Jopson reporting about the most spectacular autumn since 1929 and Joe Crowley met a couple who were held hostage by Somali pirates.

The Duran Duran interview began with music video clips of "The Wild Boys", "Girls on Film" and "Rio". Simon Le Bon and John Taylor were asked about Princess Diana and mentioned Di's Big Date bootleg, recorded at the Dominion Theatre in 1983. During the show Le Bon said that Mark Ronson felt the band went wrong after Rio and Ronson wanted All You Need Is Now to be the follow up album to Rio. There was also footage from a photo session with Roger Dekker for the new album, which included the band modelling shirts made especially for them by Katharine Hamnett. Arlene Phillips reported about London fashion and Le Bon commented that she choreographed "The Wild Boys" video.
