The Hardest Thing is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Pop Trash Tour at Carowinds in Charlotte, NC, USA on 29 July 2000.

About the album Edit

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at Carowinds, an amusement park located adjacent to Interstate 77 on the state line between North and South Carolina. This was the first of two shows performed in the state of North Carolina on the tour.

The show featured a slightly different setlist compared with other Pop Trash Tour dates. "A View to a Kill" was included.

During the evening, Simon Le Bon sang a different intro to "New Moon on Monday", a song which reached no.10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1984.

The show also included "Late Bar", performed live for the first time in eighteen years.
