The Fan Collection is an unofficial compilation album, featuring a collection of Duran Duran studio tracks and live recordings made during the early 1980s.

About the albumEdit

The album includes two live cover versions recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon during different shows. They are "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)", a song by Steve Harley recorded on 16 November 1982 during The Rio Tour. The other cover song is "Tell Me It's Just A Rumor Baby" originally by The Isley Brothers, which was recorded on 9 July 1981 during The Faster Than Light Tour. This track is also available on Decadent Durantics.

Also featured is a live punk version of "Anyone Out There", which Duran Duran performed during Blondie's Tracks Across America Tour in 1982.

The album front cover features a photo of Duran Duran taken outside the NEC Arena in Birmingham during the early 1980s.
