The Best Of The Power Station is a compilation album by The Power Station, released by EMI on the 24 July 2003.

About the album Edit

The album was released by EMI Music as part of their Ten Best Series. The compilation includes several cover versions including The Beatles' "Taxman", plus "Dancing in the Street" originally by Martha and the Vandellas.

"Dancing in the Street" is a previously unreleased live version recorded at the Hartford Civic Center, Connecticut, USA in 1985. The track features Michael Des Barres performing vocals.

Shortly after the release of this album, band members Robert Palmer and Tony Thompson died in late in 2003.
