Thanks 2 Frank is a Warren Cuccurullo album, released by the Imago Recording Company on 26 March 1996.

About the albumEdit

This is a rock guitar album by Warren Cuccurullo, who named it after his respect and admiration for Frank Zappa. He has often said in interviews that if not for Frank, he would not have his career, that he owes it all to him.

All the songs were written by Cuccurullo during a 10 day period before his Stone Pony solo show in New York on 7 July 1994 (except for "The Galactic Ballerina" which was written later).

Cuccurullo recorded the album live, with no overdubs in two days (August 20 and 28, 1994) at London's Metropolis Studios (except for the title track). The tracks includes contributions by ex-Kajagoogoo bass guitarist Nick Begg. Cuccurullo also handled all production duties.

The sleeve is ecology minded, made of cardboard instead of plastic. The design was inspired by Neil Young.
