Thank You Warren is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Pop Trash Tour at the Kokusai Kaikan Hall in Kobe, Japan on 22 June 2001.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Kokusai Kaikan Hall, a 2,112 capacity venue located at 8-1-6, Goko-dori, Chuo-ku, Kobe-shi, Hyogo-ken. The show was last of three held in Japan on the tour.

This was the last ever performance to feature Warren Cuccurullo on lead guitar, after 15 years with Duran Duran. Musicians Wes Wehmiller and Joe Travers also moved on after the show.

Duran Duran, as a trio of Simon Le Bon, Warren Cuccurullo and Nick Rhodes took to the stage and opened with "Last Day on Earth", a song used to launched previous Pop Trash Tour shows.

The setlist features seven tracks taken from the Pop Trash album, including "Pop Trash Movie" originally written for Blondie.

During the evening, Simon Le Bon introduced "Ordinary World" by saying "This song kind of symbolises what we all can do together." "The Wild Boys" was next, which finished the first encore.

After a brief break, Duran Duran returned to the stage for their second encore, closing out the show with "Rio".

Tickets for the event cost around 7,500 Japanese Yen.
