About the album
Edit
The album is a collection of live Duran Duran promotional performances for the Thank You album released in 1995.
The first set of recordings include three songs played at the Hard Rock Café opening in Las Vegas. The setlist is not complete and "Perfect Day" fades out. The three songs are taken from a radio broadcast, with a male speaker talking in Spanish between the tracks. The complete show is available on Boyz On The Side and Las Vegas Hard Rock Opening.
The second part of the CD is the full show performed in Los Angeles on 13 April by Simon Le Bon and Warren Cuccurullo. The show was sponsored by KROQ as an apology for an on-air razzing the band received (also available on House of Blues 95).
The third set contains the MTV's Most Wanted performance and includes "Plastic Girl", performed for the first and only time by the band during the end titles of the show, which is why the track fades out.
The CD finishes with "Perfect Day" from a French TV show. Nick Rhodes said that the song was one of his favorite Duran Duran covers when he answered an Ask Katy question in September 2010.
The album front cover features photography by Ellen von Unwerth.
