Starman is a promotional-only compilation album featuring Duran Duran, released by Uncut magazine in 2003.

About the album[]

The album was given away free with issue no.3 of Uncut magazine in 2003, an international publication based in London.

This is a collection of David Bowie (wrote/co-wrote) songs performed by various artists. The compilation includes four songs Duran Duran have covered. These include "Funtime" performed at the British MENCAP Concert in 1983. "Boys Keep Swinging" was released by Duran Duran on the 2010 We Were So Turned On album.

The compilation also features Blondie's version of "Heroes", a song originally released by Bowie on his 1977 Herioes album. He later performed the song at Live Aid in 1985.
