Special Extended Selections is a promotional-only 12" vinyl single featuring Duran Duran, released in the USA by Harvest during 1982.
About the single[]
Issued in a black stickered sleeve, the single incorporates a split disc format. On side 1 is Duran Duran's "Rio" (Night Version), the 12" version of the single that featured a music video directed by Russell Mulcahy with footage of Duran Duran on board Eilean in May of 1982.
Side 2 features two extended tracks from Thomas Dolby's debut album The Golden Age of Wireless, an artist who performed at Live Aid in London as part of David Bowie's band.
