Special Duran Duran Italy 1993 is an unofficial compilation DVD, featuring a collection of Duran Duran performances and media appearances recorded in Italy during 1993.

About the DVDEdit

On 31 January 1993, Duran Duran flew to Rome for various promotional activities and announced they would perform two Acoustic Evening Shows in Italy, during February.

The DVD includes "Drive By" performed at the Milan acoustic show on 21 February, a song which begins with spoken words by Simon Le Bon describing the hottest July day in Santa Monica Bouevard and finishes with music from "The Chauffeur".

On the same day as the Milan show the band performed "Ordinary World" and "Come Undone" on the TV show Buona Domenica in the afternoon, which are also included.

The DVD front cover features Duran Duran photography by Karen Mason-Blair.
