Something For The Weekend (19 December 2010) is a British Sunday morning TV show featuring members of Duran Duran, broadcast from London by BBC2 in the UK on that date.

About the show[]

Presented by Louise Redknapp and Tim Lovejoy, the show features cookery, drinks, interviews with celebrity guests and clips from the week's television, as well as classic clips in the 'Deja View' section. At the end of the show, the presenters and guests sit at a round table and each have a dish that has been cooked during the show.

The episode featured Simon Le Bon, John Taylor and comedian Jimmy Carr. In an interview Le Bon and Taylor talked about the New Romantic fashion that came after Punk, Bowie and Glam. Included was a clip of the "All You Need Is Now" music video, directed by Nick Egan and shown courtesy of Tape Modern. Adding that Mark Ronson took the band back to the 80s sound, when their first two albums were very experimental. They also mentioned that Duran Duran were planning a world tour, beginning in May 2011.
