Raphael Dejesus was a Puerto Rican American percussionist, who has spent three decades working and touring with some of musics top acts including Duran Duran.
Biography[]
At the beginning of 1980s Raphael worked with Marianne Faithful on her A Child's Adventure album. This was followed by more percussion work on Dave Valentin's 1983 album Flute Juice.
Also in 1983, Raphael's work included performing on Duran Duran's third album Seven and the Ragged Tiger. This was followed by live shows with the band throughout the world in 1983-84, during The Sing Blue Silver Tour. He features on the live tour album Arena, plus the videos Arena (An Absurd Notion) and the television special As The Lights Go Down. Other band related credits include So Red the Rose by Arcadia in 1985.
During the 1990s Raphael again worked with Marianne Faithful on her 1998 album A Perfect Stranger. In 2006, he performed on Tego Calderon's album The Underdog.
