The single is from a band who emerged from North Wales in the late 1970s. They opened for acts such as U2 and Bob Dylan, which helped the band to became a popular alternative rock band of the 1980s.

"Rain In The Summertime" reached no.18 in the UK Singles Chart, a single released before the Eye of the Hurricane album which features the song.

The single also includes "The Bells of Rhymney", recorded live and mixed by Andy Taylor.
