Palermo 87 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Strange Behaviour Tour at the Stadio La Favorita in Palermo, Italy on 28 May 1987.

About the album Edit

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Stadio La Favorita, a 36,346 capacity football stadium in Palermo. The show was the first of seven performed in Italy on the tour.

This was a historic event for Duran Duran, as it was their first ever show in Italy. Duran Duran were a mass media affair in the country at the time, performing in Italy with one of the biggest tours in the country by any band during 1987.

Original members Simon Le Bon, John Taylor and Nick Rhodes, were backed by guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, drummer Steve Ferrone, three horn players and two backing singers.

This CD contains the full recording of the show, which also includes a lot of sound and screaming from the crowd. Due to the historical value, this is an important CD, even if the audio quality is not excellent.
