Palatrussardi: Dec. 10, 1988 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Big Live Thing Tour at the Palatrussardi in Milan, Italy on 10 December 1988.

About the albumEdit

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Palatrussardi, a 8,479 capacity venue located at Via Antonio Sant'Elia, 33. This was the first of three shows performed in Milan on the tour.

Performing in a 9-strong band line-up, Simon Le Bon, John Taylor and Nick Rhodes launched the first of three consecutive nights in Milan with "Big Thing".

Le Bon took center stage, illuminated with flashes of sharp coloured lights as he sang "I don't mind. If you're keeping someone else behind." the opening lines of the second song "I Don't Want Your Love". The crowd erupted when Duran Duran followed with "Hungry Like the Wolf".

Given their song catalogue, the band filled the set with a mix that sampled new material from Big Thing, with a serving of their familiar hits.

Duran Duran rounded up the evening with a collection of songs recorded by the original five members of the band, during the first part of the 1980s.

Tickets for the event cost around 25,000 lira.
