Orange County 2009 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Summer Tour at the OC Super Fair, Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa, CA, USA on 11 July 2009.

About the albumEdit

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Pacific Amphitheatre, a 8,500 capacity outdoor venue. This was the last of three shows performed by the band in the state of California on the tour. The 2009 Orange County Fair also featured Blondie, Smokey Robinson, The Black Eyed Peas and Kelly Clarkson.

After A Clockwork Orange movie instrumental introduction, Duran Duran took to the stage and opened their set with "The Wild Boys".

"Hold Back the Rain" followed, performed on a stage that featured giant flash bulbs and silver streamers as the backdrop.

During the show the band covered Arcadia's "Election Day" and Melle Mel's co-written "White Lines". Duran Duran finished with an encore that included a James Bond movie medley.

Tickets for the event cost from around $85.00, which also included admission to the fair.
