Notorious Promo is an unofficial compilation album, featuring a collection of Duran Duran Notorious demo recordings from the 1980s.

About the albumEdit

The album includes a rare version of "A Matter Of Feeling", with Andy Taylor performing vocals shortly before he left Duran Duran.

"Rope", "Notorious" and "Vertigo" are three songs recorded at the beginning of the demo sessions, which are all named after Alfred Hitchcock thriller films.

Also included are spoken lyrics originally released on the Japanese Reading Record flixi disc, sold with a glossy 70-page softback book and recorded whilst Duran Duran were in Osaka (Japan) on 24 March 1987.

The bootleg front cover features photography by John Swannell.
