The album contains DJ mixes of songs by various artists, which is part of a series that also includes Mixtime and Mixtime 2.

The compilation features "Who Wants To Live Forever" from the Russell Mulcahy directed Highlander film, plus singer Limahl from the Nick Rhodes co-produced Kajagoogoo (White Feathers album).

There is also Grace Jones, who performed on Arcadia's So Red the Rose album and starred in the James Bond movie A View To A Kill.
