May 19th 1987: 2nd Show At Wembley is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Strange Behaviour Tour at Wembley Arena in London, UK on 19 May 1987.

About the albumEdit

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at Wembley Arena, a 12,500 capacity indoor venue located opposite Wembley Stadium. This was the second of three shows performed at Wembley Arena on the tour.

The evening began at 7:30pm with opening act John Adams, warming up the crowd with his style of rock.

From the minute Simon Le Bon, John Taylor and Nick Rhodes walked onto the stage, it was all systems go. Members of the audience screamed when Duran Duran launched into the first song "A View to a Kill".

A tidal wave of hits, tracks from Notorious and fan favorites followed, as video screens projected various images of the band.

There was a England vs Brazil soccer match being played nextdoor at Wembley Stadium, at the same time of this show. During the evening Simon Le Bon made several comments about the game.

Tickets for the event cost around £10.00.

The UK tour poster features Duran Duran photography by Matthew Rolston.
