Machine Language is a solo album by Warren Cuccurullo, released by Imago Records on 20 May 1997.
About the album[]
The album was written and produced by Warren Cuccurullo, who also performed, recorded and mixed all the tracks live on a 2-track digital recorder. All the tracks were recorded in 1987, except 1 & 9 which were in 1992.
The only instruments used on the album were an electric guitar and organ. The musical style follows an ambient direction, with a far less gritty guitar sound that Warren Cuccurullo has produced throughout the years with Duran Duran, Missing Persons and Frank Zappa. The tracks portray an artistic vision with no sign of hurry, producing a peaceful atmospheric effect.
Warren first worked on tracks for the album back in the summer of 1986, after Missing Persons broke up. The album is CD no.1 in the 'Machine Language' series.
