MTV New Year's Eve Ball 1982 is an unofficial Duran Duran 64-minute DVD (Region 0, all regions, PAL), released in the USA by the Fan Club during 2010.

About the DVD

The DVD is a recording of the original broadcast of Duran Duran at the Palladium in New York City (USA) on 31 December 1982, during the 2nd Annual MTV's New Year's Eve Rock 'N' Roll Ball. Duran Duran were the headline act at the Palladium, a venue located on the south side of East 14th Street, between Irving Place and 3rd Avenue. Originally broadcast on MTV, the show was also simulcast on FM radio for the King Biscuit Flower Hour.

The audio for this show has appeared on numerous bootlegs, sometimes incorrectly cited as 8 August 1982 at The Savoy (Live at the Savoy).

The bonus featurette is a recording of The Tube's On The Road N.E.C. TV Show documentary, filmed in Birmingham (UK) on 12 December 1983 during The Sing Blue Silver Tour.
