Live In The Ritz is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Reunion Tour at Webster Hall in New York, NY, USA on 27 August 2003.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at Webster Hall, a 1,400 capacity (main stage) venue formerly called The Ritz. This was the only show performed in the state of New York on the tour.

Gela Nash's co-founded Juicy Couture presented the concert, attended by many celebrities including Moby, Chloe Sevigny, Padma Lakshmi, Philip Treacy and fashion designer Peter Som. All 1,400 tickets sold out in two minutes, crashing the Ticketmaster website for 30 minutes.

One of New York City's oldest and longest-running nightclubs, played host to the first show in the city by the original five band members of Duran Duran since March 1984. The evening was appropriately entitled Back Together, Back at the Ritz

Webster Hall unearthed its 'concert' soundboard for the band that produced iconic pop hits like "Planet Earth" and "Girls on Film". Simon Le Bon remarked on the intimacy of Webster Hall, calling it his “favorite kind of place to perform,” setting fans into a round of applause.

Kicking off their set with "Friends of Mine" from their debut album Duran Duran, Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Andy Taylor and Roger Taylor played through a mix of hits, album cuts and new material, sending the crowd into massive sing-alongs.

Tickets for the show cost from around $45.00.

The after show party was attended by many New Yorkers including Christie Turlington, Edward Burns, Chloe Sevigny, Debbie Harry, Tatum O’Neal, Famke Janssen, Michael Musto, The Donnas and film director Brett Ratner.

The VIP pass features Duran Duran photography by Richard Haughton.
