Live In Antwerp: December 13th 2005 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Astronaut Tour at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium on 13 December 2005.

About the albumEdit

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Sportpaleis, a 17,000 capacity venue located in the district of Merksem, next to the Antwerp ring road. This was the second show performed in Belgium on the tour.

At approx 8:30pm, the show began with instrumental music from A Clockwork Orange and screens projecting images of the five original band members of Duran Duran, wearing suits and ties.

This introduction was a new arrangement for the Christmas dates of The Astronaut Tour. A Clockwork Orange intro was later used on various shows in 2008 and The 2009 Summer Tour.

The setlist for the Christmas dates was also slightly different, featuring "Friends of Mine" as the opening song instead of "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise". "Sound of Thunder" was also included, performed with "Hold Back the Rain".

Throughout the night, the band mixed most of their greatest hits with new songs. In total, four tracks from Astronaut were played.

After a brief break, Duran Duran closed out the show with a Bond medley of "A View to a Kill (That Fatal Kiss)" and the movie theme song "A View to a Kill", played with artistic stage lighting. This was followed by "The Wild Boys".
