About the album
Edit
The album contains eight Duran Duran live tracks, which if you trust the label were all recorded in America. This is theorized by some to be recordings from 1982, during the American leg of The Rio Tour. If one actually listens to the recordings, it becomes clear that side one was recorded in America at the 1984 Oakland, California shows. They are not the original soundboard mixes as heard on many other unofficial recordings as would be expected, however. They are actually the remixed recordings lifted straight from the official release of Arena, albeit with inferior (and inconsistent) sound quality, and some edits (like the fade out of "Planet Earth").
Side Two was in fact not recorded in the US at all, but is from a London Hammersmith Odeon concert from 1982, the exact same show as the recent live Hammersmith '82! DVD/CD.
The album was released as a limited edition red vinyl LP, with white labels.
