|unofficial live album|
|Venue||Wembley Arena, London,|
|Recorded||23 December 1988|
About the albumEdit
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at Wembley Arena, a 12,500 capacity indoor venue located opposite Wembley Stadium. This was the first of two shows performed at the venue on the tour.
The concert was broadcast live on Capitol FM Radio in London, which was later edited down to a one hour highlights show. The edited version was used for francise broadcast on other local radio stations in the UK.
Duran Duran performed after the opening act J.J. Slick, who were booed offstage. The album contains the full setlist, except for the closing instrumental of "The Edge of America" / "Lake Shore Driving". Between each song there are spoken words from a radio presenter.
Tickets for the event cost around £12.50.
