About the album
Edit
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the House of Blues in Chicago, a 1,300 capacity venue located at 329 N. Dearborn Street. This was the first of three shows performed in the state of Illinois on the tour.
Duran Duran took to the stage for their first show of a 30 date tour and launched into a rousing version of "Girls on Film".
"Hungry Like the Wolf" was next, a song which opened Duran Duran's last gig in Chicago when they played the VH1 Ultimate Office Party on 3 December 1997.
After playing a strong rendition of "Notorious", a no.2 chart hit for the band, Simon Le Bon introduced "Hallucinating Elvis", a new track from the soon to be released Pop Trash album.
During the evening, fans were treated to "Friends of Mine", a rarely played song during the 1990s.
For the encore, Duran Duran returned with their no.1 hit single "The Reflex", then introduced another new song, "Pop Trash Movie". "Rio" closed the show.
