KB Hallen is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Red Carpet Massacre Tour at the KB Hallen in Copenhagen, Denmark on 22 June 2008.

About the albumEdit

The album is an incomplete recording of Duran Duran's performance at the KB Hallen, 3000 capacity venue located in the center of Copenhagen. This was the second of two shows performed by the band in Denmark on the tour.

The Sunday evening concert began with searchlights sweeping over the crowd and instrumental music from A Clockwork Orange. This was followed by Duran Duran performing the bass-heavy opener of "The Valley". More new songs came next, including the beat-driven "Nite-Runner".

The mid-section of the show was run entirely on synthesizers and drum machines. Tracks like "Last Chance on the Stairway", "All She Wants Is" and "I Don't Want Your Love" became electro versions, blending seamlessly with the band’s cover of The Normal’s "Warm Leatherette".

The mood was soon elevated again with a rousing rendition of "(Reach Up for The) Sunrise", from the 2004 Astronaut album. An encore featuring "Rio" finished the show.

Tickets for the event cost around Kr.395,00.
