Jingle Jam: 2004 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded at the Jingle Jam, Gwinnett Center Arena in Atlanta, GA, USA on 2 December 2004.
About the album[]
The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Gwinnett Center Arena, a 13,100 capacity indoor venue located in Duluth, Georgia.
This was the first of two US Christmas dates played shortly after The Reunion Tour finished, and Duran Duran's debut appearance at Jingle Jam.
Organised by the Atlanta based Star 94 radio, Duran Duran launched the annual holiday show with new material taken from the recently released Astronaut album, followed by the much-loved "Hungry Like the Wolf".
The US Billboard Hot 100 no.1 single "A View to a Kill" was next, which had the audience in the sold-out arena on their feet.
With many in the crowd anticipating the "Rio" encore, nothing happened until Simon Le Bon said “I like boats, ya know”, then chaos!
