Jingle Ball '99 is a live compilation album featuring Duran Duran, recorded at the Jingle Ball benefit show in San Diego, CA, USA on 17 December 1999.

The album was released by Star 100.7 FM in 2000.

About the albumEdit

This is a collections of live performances by various artists recorded at Cox Arena, a 12,000 capacity venue located on the San Diego State University (SDSU) campus.

This was Duran Duran's second appearance at Jingle Ball, a Christmas benefit show held annually in San Diego. The event was first staged in 1996 at the city's 1,500 seat '4th & B', before growing in size.

Jingle Ball '99 was sponsored by the city's now defunct Star 100.7 FM radio station. Proceeds went to the children's charity The Make A Wish Foundation and Becky's House, a transitional home for victims of domestic violence.

Musical acts that have appeared at the benefit event include Blondie, Sugar Ray, Stevie Nicks and Def Leppard. Duran Duran have performed at Jingle Ball on three occasions, 1999, 2004 and 2007.
