featuring Duran Duran

ITV News (16 December 2010) is the branding of news programmes on the British television network ITV, and featured Duran Duran on that date.

About the programmeEdit

The programme has one of the largest television audiences for news in the UK, with its viewing figures for all of its main programmes counted in millions.

The ITV London Evening edition of the programme featured an interview with all four members of Duran Duran, presented by Nina Hossain. The interview began with music video clips of "Rio" and "All You Need Is Now", followed by Simon Le Bon and John Taylor talking about the band's new album All You Need Is Now. Adding that producer Mark Ronson liked the experimental aspects of their first two albums and wanted to rediscover the spirit of Duran Duran.

Roger Taylor later mentioned that over the years Duran had drifted away from their music position, to be replaced by band's like The Killers and The Bravery (two bands with concert connections; The Killers - Las Vegas 2008 and The Bravery - Birmingham City 2005).

The interview also covered Nina Hossain's participation on All You Need Is Now, which included footage of her recording vocals for "Blame the Machines".
