Howie Weinberg is a music mastering engineer, whose work has included The Power Station album.
Biography[]
Howie has worked at Masterdisk in New York City since 1977 and has been responsible for mastering releases, such as Herbie Hancock's Grammy Award winning album Future Shock, the Beastie Boys' License to Ill and the multi-platinum Nevermind by Nirvana.
Weinberg has also worked with Tom Waits, Public Enemy, Rammstein, Aerosmith, The White Stripes, and in 1985 he mastered The Power Station's debut album The Power Station.
In 1997, Howie was nominated for the Mix Foundation's Technical Excellence & Creativity award for mastering engineer. He later won an award for Sheryl Crow's "Soak up the Sun" and "C'mon, C'mon", plus "Feel Good, Inc" by Gorillaz in 2006.
