House of Blues: August 6, 1999 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Let It Flow Tour at the House of Blues in Chicago, IL, USA on 6 August 1999.

About the albumEdit

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the House of Blues in Chicago, a 1,300 capacity venue located at 329 N. Dearborn Street. This was the second of three shows performed in the state of Illinois on the tour.

At 9:00pm, Duran Duran burst onstage with a vigorous version of "Girls on Film", a song introduced with white strobe lighting and camera clicking.

The band then played "Hungry Like the Wolf", a single which reached no.3 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Soon Simon Le Bon was introducing "Hallucinating Elvis", a new track from the upcoming Pop Trash album. "Out of My Mind" followed, performed as the Perfecto Mix version created by Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne.

"Come Undone" was the first ballad of the evening, played with a pre-recorded female singer performing backing vocals.

For nearly two hours, the group ran through major hits and fans favorites, from 1981's "Friends of Mine" to 1997's "Electric Barbarella".

During the encore, Duran Duran introduced another new song, "Pop Trash Movie", a song propelled by Nick Rhodes' keyboards.

Tickets for the event cost around $43.50.
