Recorded at Echo Base Studios in New York, the album features synth-pop tracks written by Brave New World, except for Duran Duran's "Planet Earth".

"Apologies" was the first single released from the album. The track "Moment of Silence" is in the style of Depeche Mode, just one of the bands that have inspired Brave New World to make music since the early 1990s.
