Greenberg (soundtrack) is a 18-track compilation album featuring Duran Duran, released by Focus Features, Parlophone and DFA on 22 March 2010.

About the album[]

The Greenberg soundtrack marks DJ, producer and composer James Murphy's first foray into film scoring. He is also the leader of the Grammy Award-Nominated New York City band LCD Soundsystem, and head of the record label DFA. In Greenberg, Academy Award-nominated screenwriter/director Noah Baumbach brings a funny, touching and poignant story of two souls adrift in Los Angels, trying to forge a connection. The soundtrack includes "Jet Airline", a song composed by Paul Pena in 1973 and later released by the Steve Miller Band in 1977. Duran Duran's "The Chauffeur" is also included, which features in the movie at a party when Greenberg decides to change the music on the CD player and inserts the Rio album. He wants to play "Hungry Like The Wolf" and presses the 'next song' button three times, but instead of track no.4 playing it's "The Chauffeur" (song no.9 on the CD).
