Goh Hotoda is a Japanese born Grammy winning sound engineer and music producer, whose work has included remix engineering on Duran Duran's "All She Wants Is" single in 1988.

BiographyEdit

Born in Japan, Goh moved with his family to the United States when he was 11 and became a U.S. citizen. He lived there until returning to Tokyo in 2005. Hotoda's earliest work includes remix engineering on the 12" single version of "When the Gate Swing Open" by Otis Clay & South Wind in 1984.

Goh's Midas touch has produced many gold and platinum albums, including two Grammy winners. When Madonna conceived the album Erotica, she had mixers Shep Pettibone and Hotoda deliver the cut that made it a major hit. The trio's reconception of her songs on the Immaculate Collection helped it sell some 30 million copies. Hotoda also mixed Madonna's "Vogue" single.

Other credits include Janet Jackson's "Rhythm Nation" and David Sanborn's "Inside".
