Geoff Swan is a British producer and mixing engineer, whose work has included Duran Duran's Paper Gods album released in 2015.
Biography[]
Geoff's musical roots developed at a young age in rural Wiltshire playing a variety of instrumentals and an eclectic taste for a range of musical styles and genres. Having worked with a diverse set of artists on a freelance level during his university years, Geoff graduated in 2007 before setting up The Ranch Production House in Southampton the following year. The studio has developed a name with young developing artists and has allowed Geoff to grow and develop as a producer and mixing engineer.
In 2013, Geoff began working as Mark ‘Spike’ Stent’s mixing engineer at his UK studio. During this time he has grown and developed his own craft further and has had the privilege to work on the No.1 album and Grammy Nominated Ed Sheeran X. During his tenure with Spike he has also worked with artists such as Coldplay, John Newman, Kasabian, The Script, Rudimental and many others.
Since working with Spike, Geoff’s ambitions have only continued to grow and in 2014 he set out to build his name as a solo Mixer/Producer. Whilst still working with Spike he has found time to work with Atlantic, Asylum, Columbia, Good Soldier Songs, Island, Sony Sweden & Syco whilst also working on a whole host of upcoming independent projects.
