Milano: June 5th 1987 is an unofficial Duran Duran live album, recorded during The Strange Behaviour Tour at the Stadio San Siro in Milan, Italy on 5 June 1987.

About the album[]

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the Stadio San Siro, a 80,018 capacity venue that's home of both A.C. Milan and F.C. Internazionale Milano Football Club. This was the sixth of seven shows performed in Italy on the tour.

Eight days after performing in Italy for the very first time, Duran Duran took to the stage at one of Europe's biggest stadiums and launched into the Italian no.1 single "A View to a Kill". Playing in front of an audience of 50,000 people, the show continued with another Italian no.1 hit, "Notorious".

Duran Duran were a mass media affair in the country at the time, who were performing as a new-look band featuring original members Simon Le Bon, John Taylor and Nick Rhodes, backed by guitarist Warren Cuccurullo, drummer Steve Ferrone, three horn players and two backing singers.

The band played a mixture of new from their album Notorious and old including another Italian no.1 hit "The Wild Boys".

Tickets for the event cost around 22,500 liras.
