Kristin Burns is an American photographer, whose work has featured on Duran Duran's Red Carpet Massacre album sleeve.
Biography[]
Kristin's childhood was a whirlwind, as she moved from coast to coast of the USA with her family in a blue school bus. She later attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and graduated with distinction in 2004. Since graduating Kristin has toured with and photographed The Smashing Pumpkins, Duran Duran, Placebo, Mick Jagger, Brian Wilson, Rob Zombie, Jessica Simpson, Soulja Boy, Dave Stewart and others.
Kristin currently lives in Los Angeles, working for clients such as Nike, LA Marathon, Vidal Sassoon, Warner Bros Records, Geffen Records, Universal, Sony BMG, AOL Music, MSN, Guitar Hero, and Virgin Records. Her work has also appeared in Anthem, Urb, Swindle, Filter, Teen, Italian Vogue, Women’s Wear Daily, Rolling Stone, and Marie Claire.
In April 2012, a photo shoot was organized in Los Angeles with John Taylor for his autobiography In the Pleasure Groove. Patty Palazzo designed the book and incorpated Kristin's work on the front cover.
