Actress

Elizabeth Jane Hurley (born 10 June 1965) is an English model and actress who became known as a girlfriend of Hugh Grant in the 1990s. In 1994, as Grant became the focus of worldwide media attention due to the global box office success of his film Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied him to the film's Los Angeles premiere in a plunging black Versace dress held together with gold safety pins, which gained her instant media notice.

The highlight of Hurley's professional life has been her association with the cosmetics company Estée Lauder. The company gave Hurley her first modeling job at the age of 29 and has used her as a model for its products, especially perfumes such as Sensuous, Intuition, and Pleasures, since 1995. Her best known cinematic work was as Vanessa Kensington in hit spy comedies, International Man of Mystery (1997) and The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999).

Duran Duran connectionsEdit

Elizabeth featured in a Psycho-movie inspired shower scene used as a backdrop to the live performances of "A View To A Kill", shown during the UK 2004 Reunion Tour shows including the N.E.C. Arena concert.

Originally keyboard player and keen photographer Nick Rhodes asked Elizabeth if he could video her legs for The Dilate Your Mind Tour, but the film was not used until 10 years later. The footage is featured in the Live from London DVD. (see video below).
