Earl Wesley Gardner, Jr. (born NYC, 19 April 19 1950) is an American jazz trumpeter, whose work has included performing on The Power Station's Living In Fear album.

BiographyEdit

In 1976, Earl joined The Thad Jones / Mel Lewis Orchestra. This was a jazz big band formed by trumpeter Thad Jones and drummer Mel Lewis, that won the 1978 Grammy Award for the album Live In Munich.

Other work includes performing on David Bowie's Never Let Me Down, Talking Heads' Naked and on the 1997 album Living In Fear by The Power Station.
