Duranoid is an unofficial Duran Duran live double 12" vinyl album, recorded during The Sing Blue Silver Tour at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, CA, USA on 17 April 1984.

About the album Edit

The album is a recording of Duran Duran's performance at the San Diego Sports Arena, a 14,800 capacity venue located on Sports Arena Blvd in Point Loma. The show was the last of seven dates performed in the state of California on the tour.

This was the last stop on the 79 date Sing Blue Silver Tour for Duran Duran, who played a high energy show that included two encores. The original five members of the band, had the audience on their feet for the whole evening.

Duran Duran touring with their newest release, Seven and the Ragged Tiger, played a number of songs from the album, including "The Reflex", "New Moon on Monday" and "Union of the Snake".

Before the show finished, someone celebrated the end of the tour by hiring a stripper to dance and partially disrobe onstage. Julie Anne was reportedly very unhappy about the way she performed near Nick at the keyboards.
