Duran Duran Video 45 is a Duran Duran 2-track video EP, released by PMI in the UK and by Sony in the USA during 1983.

About the Video 45 Edit

The Duran Duran Video 45 VHS version contained two tracks featuring the Day version of "Girls on Film" and the video for "Hungry Like the Wolf". The Beta format version featured the Night Version of "Girls on Film" instead, with the video for "Hungry Like The Wolf". The later video release of Duran Duran (1983 video) would contain the Beta version from this video.

The Duran Duran Video 45 won the Grammy Award for Best Short Form Music Video in 1984, the first year the Academy gave that award. The format known as Video 45 from the early 1980's was a reference to 7" vinyl singles known as 45's because of their turntable speed (45 rpm).
