Countdown: Live is a double 12" vinyl compilation album featuring Duran Duran, released in the Netherlands by EVA during 1987.

About the albumEdit

The album is a collection of songs by various artists.

Countdown was a Dutch music show which was ranked as one of the best in the whole of Europe. The show ran from 1978 to the early 1990s, with Duran Duran appearing on various occasions.

The compilation includes UB40, a band from Birmingham who were produced by Bob Lamb during the same period he was working with Duran Duran on early demos.

Also featured on the album are Talk Talk, Queen and Spandau Ballet, three groups Russell Mulcahy directed music videos for.
